MET Rishikul Vidyalaya shapes children into all-around athletes. Even during this pandemic and online learning, our students excelled in all the co-curricular activities. Sports Day at MRV always triumphs, as it leaves everyone with a feeling of pride.

The day began with the unwrapping of the new toys and games and a display of MRV students IEYC reflective journals. The whole school recited the Sport pledge and took the oath of Sportsmanship, with the help of two of our Sr. KG students. The children demonstrated a wide range of displays starting with March Past which is a wonderful way to imbibe discipline and develop stamina. This was followed by Zumba and a drill using dumbbells, this helps to mobilize the body muscles and makes us stress-free. Karate and Gymnastics helped the team in gaining confidence.

It was entertaining to see our little champions. This year the themes for the races were related to the IEYC Units learnt like – Loose Parts, Ocean Treasures, and Animal Rescuers. The races were challenging and at the same time building the spirit of sportsmanship. At the end of the day, students, parents and MRV staff cherished every moment of the athletic meet.
