On 24th January 2022, MRV students from Grade 6 to AS Level had an insightful online interaction with Ms. Yatri Vitekar, Chairman - Railway Recruitment Board (Mumbai) from the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. Ms. Yatri, who has an enriched experience of 20 years of working with the Indian government, shared her dreams and aspirations and her phenomenal journey to her present office.

Her personal life stories along with her simple explanations captured the interest of the students. Her question-answer session on the role of civil services in carrying out government policies, the challenges and the progress made in the last few years, absolutely fascinated the students. She echoed in her own words the historic message of US President, Late Mr. J F Kennedy, ‘Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.’ Ms. Yatri not only inspired our students but also challenged them to self-reflect and take action. The event was a thundering success.
