Grade 3 students at MET Rishikul Vidyalaya celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with joy and enthusiasm through a vibrant presentation featuring music, dance, prayer and a short dance-drama.

The presentation introduced students to the story and significance of the festival while highlighting the importance of celebrating responsibly. Through their performance, students shared a thoughtful message about choosing eco-friendly Ganesha idols made from natural clay and biodegradable materials.

The students also demonstrated how simple, mindful choices can make festive celebrations more environmentally responsible. Natural colours, flowers, leaves and reusable decorations were highlighted as meaningful alternatives that can help reduce the impact on nature.

The celebration provided students with an opportunity to connect with cultural traditions while developing an understanding of environmental responsibility. It was a meaningful blend of cultural learning, creativity and sustainability.
