As part of their humanities lesson on the Indian Constitution, Grade 6 learners at MET Rishikul Vidyalaya created and presented their own Class Constitution. Working collaboratively, students developed a shared set of rights, responsibilities, rules, and values to promote a respectful, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The activity strengthened students' understanding of responsible citizenship while fostering teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. By connecting constitutional principles to everyday classroom experiences, learners gained a deeper appreciation of fairness, accountability, mutual respect, and the importance of following rules for the well-being of the community.
