MRV encouraged the students to use eco-friendly materials like clay,coconut husk, flowers and paper mache for Ganesh idol making and held a competition to bring awareness for using these practices. It brought out creative and innovative ideas to put together varied combinations of materials to make beautiful Ganesh idols . The activity brought great joy and a sense of accomplishment amongst our students.
These idols can be easily immersed in water without harming the aquatic life and polluting the water.
