The 5th of July 2024 marked the school’s first and most prestigious event of the year, The Student Council Investiture Ceremony. To participate in this occasion, the MET Rishikul Vidyalaya (MRV) Student Council underwent rigorous training for the march past every day starting from the 1st of July. Although it was quite a tough task, with motivation from the amazing Physical Education teachers, Mr. Anil and Ms. Ashwini, the superb MRV teachers, and our dearest Principal Ma’am, the students did a splendid job throughout the event.

The ceremony began with the handover of the Student Council positions from the previous talented Council members of 2023-24: Alina Khan (Head Girl), Keval Gala (Sports Captain), and Maynard Padhi (Head Boy). Next, the newly elected council, consisting of the Head Girl, Radhika Harsora; Sports Captain, Tvisha Dedhia; Head Boy, Avneesh Kane; Vice Sports Captain, Granth Jain; and the dashing duo of primary prefects, Reenav Munot and Tia Costa, started the march. This line was followed by the four House Captains and their Vice Captains: Saee Bhat and Kaavya Jain, the Shivaji house captain and vice-captain; Vivaan Mallya and Kimaya Vaidya, the Tagore house captain and vice-captain; Rivan Jain and Aarav Jain, the Gandhi house captain and vice-captain; and finally Janmesh Seth and Vihana Gala Shah, the Ashoka house captain and vice-captain.

Each member of the student council was not only felicitated by Shri Pankaj Bhujbal, Hon. Trustee of MET, along with Smt. Vishakha Bhujbal, Senior Management Representative, and Dr. G. Nagashree, Principal of MET Rishikul Vidyalaya, but were also given the chance to express their gratitude and future plans in the form of a speech.

Finally, the event concluded with a fabulous speech from Shri Pankaj Bhujbal Sir and a photography session to commemorate the event.
