CIDTL or ‘Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning’ is designed, assessed & certified by Cambridge Assessment International Examination.
This Cambridge International Certificate enables teachers to:

A typical Certificate programme run by a Cambridge Professional Development Centre consists of a broad balance of activities, appropriate to the needs and circumstances of teachers and their schools. The programme is planned by the centre’s programme leader as a coherent sequence of learning over time, with a variety of elements.

  • 20 sessions of 2 hrs each session
  • Portfolio submission by the candidate after finishing the course

  • Practicing teacher with minimum graduate degree in any stream.
  • If you are private tutor, at least 6 students should be taught by you.

  • Module 1 can be taken on its own as the Certificate
  • Candidates can then progress to Modules 2 and 3 to complete the Diploma (if they want to pursue)
  • Candidates must achieve a grade of pass or distinction before moving to the next module
  • Candidates can progress to Modules 2 and 3 to complete the Diploma (if they want to pursue) only after completing certificate course (module 1)
  • The candidate can take gaps between modules

  • The total course hours is 150 for certificate
  • Approx. 6 months (2 hours/session) teaching time for certificate (Module 1)

The assessment and certification is done by Cambridge UK.
Candidates are assessed through a portfolio of evidence, submitted to a team of Cambridge Assessment International Examiners using the Cambridge PD Portfolio, an online platform.

  • Module 1 Certificate : Total 150 hours - 50 hours of Guided Learning, (2 hours synchronous session per week), 50 hours of Individual and Collaborative Learning, 50 hours of Work Based Learning.
